White on Black ~ Exploring the Dark Side of Zentangle ~
Looking for a way to chill out? In this class we
will go beyond the original Zentangle® "black on white"
process. Using black fine art Zentangle tiles, we will explore how the technique
translates to white on black applications. Using Sakura White Gelly Roll pens that
glide like silk onto the paper, we will tangle patterns to showcase the beauty
of white ink on a black background using these unique art materials. Using repetitive patterns and deliberate
strokes to create abstract art and achieve a relaxed meditative focus is the
goal. This class is especially for those who have
already taken an introductory Zentangle class from me or any Certified
Zentangle Teacher. For beginners who would like to take the class, contact me in advance to make arrangements.
Class Fee of $35
includes all the high quality materials needed for the class and some extra black tiles so you can keep creating on your own.

Zentangle Home Workshop, at your convenience
Invite your family, friends or
bridal party to a Zentangle® class at your home as a unique way to get together
while relaxing and creating beautiful
abstract art. The class introduces Zentangle, easy to learn for anyone,
especially if you feel you have no artistic ability. It is a relaxing method for creating
beautiful images with repetitive pattern drawing and deliberate strokes. You will make two 3 ½ inch square tiles of
Zentangle art while learning 8-10 tangle patterns. The class lasts about 2 hours and includes a
door prize or two. Class fee is $35 per person and includes a mini-kit of high quality
materials needed for the class. With 4
or more paying guests, the hostess has the class for free and with 5 or more,
also receives an original Zentangle kit.
The Zentangle kit is a $49 value and is only available through Certified
Zentangle Teachers or the Zentangle.com website. Zentangle kits are gifts appreciated
by anyone, including you!
